At your initial consultation, I will assess your current dentures (if you have them) and go through the options best suited to you and your individual needs. I provide a written, obligation-free quote once we have discussed your requirements and settled on a treatment plan.
In some cases, I may recommend seeing a dentist to assess your remaining natural teeth prior to constructing a new partial denture. This is to ensure the viability of your natural teeth in order to make allowances for additions to the denture in the future.
FULL DENTURES
are made on an acrylic base, and I have sourced a range of acrylics to suit all circumstances and requirements.
PARTIAL DENTURES
can be made from acrylic, cobalt chromium or a flexible nylon. I can go through your best options at our initial consultation. Each has its advantages and disadvantages, and some are suited specifically to certain types of denture. Partial dentures are not just for aesthetics either, they are critical to the mastication and digestion of food, particularly when replacing molars.
IMPLANT RETAINED DENTURES
may be the answer to many problems, particularly for those wearing a full lower denture. You may wish to discuss implant therapy with your dentist. These can be costly, and it can take months to achieve the desired outcome, but they are worth it! I am happy to discuss this with you and can refer you to an excellent dentist to assist with the surgery side.
